Nagalakshmi Shanmugam is a professional speaker, powerful seminar leader, award-winning translator, author, and personal and executive coach. Before transitioning into these roles, she worked in the information technology industry for nearly a decade. A speaker for almost ten years, she is highly engaging, dynamic, and insightful, making learning a profoundly transformational experience. Her down-to-earth approach, gift of connecting with people, and authenticity endear her to anyone who crosses paths with her, and allows her to quickly gain their trust and build a genuine relationship with them.

She is a Canfield Certified Trainer in The Success Principles and in the Canfield Methodology. She has conducted The Success Principles workshop for various organizations, colleges, schools, NGOs, hospitals, and other assorted groups.

She also offers leadership seminars and personalized seminars for corporates.

Nagalakshmi has translated over 80 books from English to Tamil. She has had the privilege of translating the works of many renowned authors including Napoleon Hill, Stephen R. Covey, Dale Carnegie, John Maxwell, Spencer Johnson, Ken Blanchard, John Gray, Brian Tracy, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Melinda Gates, and very recently Yuval Noah Harari.

The awards she has won for her translation works include the Tamilnadu government’s Best Translator award, the Nalli Thisai Ettum award for the translation of Randy Pausch’s The Last Lecture, and Tiruppur Tamil Sangam’s special award for translation.

She debuted as an author in 2016 with The Forgotten Secrets of a Magical Marriage, a book that explores the common pitfalls that married couples stumble into and reveals the practices that guarantee a great marriage full of love and joy.
